THE TRIANGULUM

image

Those previous moon bites
play fireflies in my wake.

I go out of station
for a visit to a place called day
and after moons of hours
we meet —

only to watch her
tattoo my remembrance
on her neck.

She shifts aside her flowing rays
and in her exposed
neck of night —

I spot the constellated
triangulum.

An alpha thought
placed on two wings —
You and you.

My black and white
telescope carefully adjusts,

“You are not
a distance anymore”.
